“Algarve Wave, Horizons”. Made with 2D graphics and traditional drawing combined. This work was developed during a surfing holiday in the Algarve in Portugal. I initially sketched black lines while observing the waves. I then went back to where I was staying, chose the sketch I liked the best, scanned it and then proceeded to develop the colors using digital applications.

This work will add interest to any interior with its contemporary feel and also bright colors that evoke the Algarve in Portugal and also the energy of the wave. The wave is at critical mass, this is the point that it peels, many surfers will recognise this stage of the wave.
