Make Stickers From Doodle And Sketches

I’m going to show you how easy it is to make stickers from your doodles/sketches then stick them on some flat material, or possibly curved surfaces too!

I will show you how to turn a sketch like this –

Into a cool sticker, like this –

In this case, I used a travel canvas folio that contains acrylic paint brushes and paints. It’s a really nice way to personalise your objects with your own drawings that will pop out due to the vinyl cut and the sharp edges it creates.

If you are creative and love to sketch and draw whatever comes into your head. You will love this method, now you can really make your sketches “pop” and stick them to anything you want, within reason!

In the past, without the vinyl cutter, we would have to print out, then use tracing paper then tediously cut the design with a craft knife or “exacto knife.

Yuck!

However, the vinyl cutter and stickers dramatically reduce the time you will spend.  All you need to know is this simple process and how to operate a vinyl cutter in your local FabLab or Makerspace or wherever you have access to one.

The possibilities are great with making stickers from your sketches. Logos, your own signature, street art, personalise your smartphones, laptops and even interior walls.

I even have ideas Imaginary city maps, intricate stickers from my drawing sketches of cities of the imagination.
